J.B. Loillet de Gant: Sonata in G minor (2nd, 3rd 4th movements)

The Sonate of Loillet was performed by Zsolt Simon (trumpet) and István Ruppert (organ) at a tribute concert to celebrate the 70th birthday of Ms. Éva Nagyiván, the beloved trumpet teacher of generations in Hungary. She was the assisstant professor of trumpet at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Teachers' Training College in Győr for a decade while she had been teaching at music schools and music high schools (secondary schools) in the cities of Veszprém and Budapest for her entire active life. She is the co-writer of a four volume trumpet tutor (Varasdy−Nagyiván−Sztán: Trombitaiskola) which serves as the basis of the elementary curriculum of trumpet teaching not only in Hungary, but the first two books of it in France as well. About the performers: Mr. Simon graduated with Trumpet teachers' degree from the Győr College of Music, class of Ms. Nagyiván,and with MA degree in classical music performance from the Debrecen Conservatory of Franz Liszt Academy of Music. He obtained DLA (D.M.A.) degree at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 2010. He lives near St. Pölten, Austria where he teaches brass players, leads a band and manages a music school. Mr. Ruppert is the manager of the Széchenyi University Tibor Varga Institute of Musical Arts in Győr, Hungary. The concert was held on 19th of June 2010 at the University Concert Hall of Széchenyi University Tibor Varga Institute of Musical Arts (formerly Synagogue) in Győr, Hungary.
