I was really touched by the part of intro in this beautiful melody written by Giorgio Moroder, Keith Forsey, and Irene Cara for the film " Flashdance ".
I think that the success of this film is greatly indebted to this song sung by Irene. What a magical voice she has!! I hope that you enjoy this soulful song!

1983年アメリカで公開された映画、「フラッシュダンス」の有名なサウンドトラック、What a feeling をとりあげました。特にイントロの美しく物悲しいメロディは初めて聴いてとても感動したことを覚えています。
牢獄のような孤独な世界から夢を育み、勇気を持って一歩踏み出した主人公 Alex、曲を聴くたびについつい彼女と想いを重ね合わせてしまいます＾＾
それにしても Irene の素晴らしい声は主人公の Alex が歌っているようにも思えます。映画の成功はこの Irene の歌った曲に負うところが大きいのではないでしょうか。
