Video Concept:
TIDAL Unplugged allowed me production, marketing and video budgets, and I wanted to use that funding as creatively and ethically as possible when making the visuals for Better. I contacted muralist Brian Lacey, and asked him to create a mural, loosely inspired by the song, on the wall of a Detroit non-profit. We filmed his artistic process, and then sped it up for you to enjoy. My goal was to put more money and business into the hands of another Detroit artist, and put more art and color onto the walls of a charitable organization in Detroit.
