LOVE THEME (from The Godfather)

Hello everyone! This Saturday we want to offer a rather different take to our regular performances, so we picked a masterpiece called Love Theme.
Nino Rota wrote this theme originally for a film called Fortunella directed by Eduardo De FIlippo, produced by Dino De Laurentis and written by Federico Fellini. The protagonist was the genius actress Giulietta Masina.
15 years later Nino will reuse the same sweet/melancholic music for another classic film, The Godfather.
We arranged this piece based on The Godfather version with our two acoustic guitars.
Nino Rota was a prolific composer and it seems he was a lovely person as well, he said: “I tend to feel happy ,- the eternal dilemma.- how can we be happy amid the unhappiness of others? I do everything I could(sic) to give everyone a moment of happiness.
That’s what is at the heart of my music”
We also have the will and the seed of intention at the heart of this performance to offer a simply happy moment.
