L-O-V-E-U - Brass Construction (1977)

Brass Construction was a funk and soul group from Brooklyn, New York. They scored two Billboard Hot 100 entries, the most successful being "Movin'", which hit #14 in 1976. They had much more success on the Hot Dance Club Play and the R&B charts, with nine chart entries including "Movin'", which reached #1. "L-O-V-E-U", released from the 1977 album "Brass Construction III", never made the Hot 100 but reached #18 on the R&B chart. Vocalist and keyboardist Randy Muller went on to score a number of R&B hits with the group Skyy. This channel is dedicated to all the great 'old school' R&B music I grew up with, the stuff that originally made me tap my feet and want to be a DJ. Funk, soul, disco, R&B, dance, hip-hop, pop . . . 60s, 70s, 80s . . . whatever you call it, it's all 'Old School' and it's all here!
