Kat McDowell - 3.11 Official stop motion lyric video

(English below) 東北大震災があった後、東北に何回か行って、色んな人の話を聞きました。私はその年何を言えばいいか戸惑って、胸が痛いだけで、一年間曲と書くことができなかったけど、この曲は東北で出会った暖かくて強い人達のストーリーを私なりに世界の皆に伝えるために英語で書きました。

I wrote this song a year after the Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear disaster happened on 3.11.2011. I was in Tokyo at the time and felt the biggest earthquake of my life and fell to pieces after seeing the devastation that happened in Northern Japan first hand over the following months. I made so many friends in the Tsunami hit towns and saw such strength, dignity, love and compassion and was deeply moved by it all. So this is a song I wrote for them, to try and share their story through song and so I purposely didn't want to be in this music video and decided to make a stop motion video instead.
