'The Nearness Of You' - Norah Jones at Royal Festival Hall, 2/6/12

Have to say firstly, my camera only focuses so far and as Norah played from over the opposite side of the stage, that's why it looks like she's a tiny focal point in a dark room! My own view of the live show was actually better than my camera makes it look. I also filmed this from chest height as I didn't want other people's enjoyment of the show or the ambience spoiled by my camera or the light from it being right in their view, so I just did this in a fairly haphazard, hope for the best manner trying not to disturb anyone. It's not fantastic but I think it's passable enough to put up because it's such a fantastic solo performance from Norah that even this recording gives some idea of how good she was. This is her Hoagy Carmichael cover from her debut 'Come Away With Me' album, which she didn't perform on the first night of her two June London shows but added here for the second evening. Beautiful!
