Rodrigo y Gabriela - Ixtapa (Lumbini Sessions)

Hola! Today we want to share with you a tune that’s been one of the most wanted since we started this series of videos, it’s called Ixtapa from our first album (2006). Ixtapa is the name of the place we live in Mexico. Right on the pacific coasts and surrounded by beautiful nature. We used to play this tune in our early touring years, then we added it back to the set list in 2012 for the release of Area 52 with C.U.B.A. Arranged by the amazing Alex Wilson.

It’s a hard one to play, we hope this makes you smile and feel some kind of positive energy going through your your bodies.

Hi, la rola de hoy we una de las más pedidas desde que empezamos esta serie de videos, se llama Ixtapa y viene en nuestro primer álbum (2006). Ixtapa es el lugar donde vivimos, esta justo en el las costas del pacifico y rodeado de naturaleza. Solíamos tocarla mucho en nuestros primeros años de de giras, luego la volvimos a agregar a los conciertos cuando sacamos el álbum Área 52 con arreglos del maestro Alex Wilson.

No es la rola más fácil de tocar, así que esperamos que les guste, que les saque una sonrisa de menos, o dos, y que les haga sentir buenas vibras para que las compartan con los demás.
