In the late summer of 2004, Causa Sui were formed in Denmark with four players, each of whom had gained his enough experience in his own hardcore metal band. They are now a trio consisting of Jakob Skøtt (drums and percussion), Jess Kahr (bass) and Jonas Munk (of electronic project Manual on guitars, keyboards, electronics and vocals). Their musical style can be described as pyschedelic/stoner/space-rock and has a light, summery, 'feelgood' aesthetic.
