ATX Go-Go Dance Competition @ Amped Austin

Clips from the Amped Go-Go Dance Competition this year hosted by Mike "Frosty" Frost and Kimberly Norris at Amped on November 13th, 2013. Amped is located on the NE corner of 6th Street & San Jancinto in the Historic Sixth Street District of Austin, Texas.

GO-GO DANCERS:

1) Stephanie Lynn Herring - CEO for Playhau5 Barbies -Dances mostly around San Antonio - Her style is mixed and constantly changing. She specializes in shuffle, tectonics, liquid, hip hop, pole, hoop, led & fire poi.

2) Lauren Marie Martinez - Performer out of Austin Texas with a high energy style that's sure to get your up and out on the dance floor. She currently dances at Haven & here at Amped. She was trained at Texas State as a Dance Major and is the CEO of the JNL DreamCatchers.

3) Krystal Hernandez - Krystal is a performer from San Marcos, TX and has been dancing professionally for 1 1/2 years. She is currently dancing for the DreamCatchers -and also at Amped Austin. She has always loved dancing and it's what she is most passionate about.

4) Jordan Marie Kimbrell - Jordan has been professionally GoGo Dancing for two years. She dances for multiple clubs in San Antonio, Austin, Houston and South Padre. Her bigger events include Red Bull Inertia Tour, Lil Jon, Excision, and Ying Yang Twins. Jordan performs from 2-4 times a week at Nektar Lounge and also freelance bookings with her t troop . -She is self taught and has a high energy style infused with ballet, hip hop, liquid and tectonics.

6) Lindsey Dement - Lindsey has been gogo dancing for the past 2.5 years with past experience working at Malaia, Qua, Suite 101 and currently head dancer at Haven. She is also the lead instructor at Brass Ovaries pole dancing, teaching pole fitness, pole choreography and twerk - Yup, that's right... twerk!

7) Karanessa Anna-Elysia Langley - Karanessa has been dancing and teaching for the past 3 years. She teaches ladies sensual chair dancing as a fitness class and for parties called Bombshell Boom! She has performed burlesque, hip hop, and other routines at local parties, clubs & bars in San Antonio. She is new to Austin and looking to get her name out there. Karanessa's style is a mix of hip hop, pop and lock combined with a Calypso flow.

8) Lauren Ashley Ruiz - has always had a passion for dancing and specializes in belly dancing, pole fitness, spin staff and other various styles. Lauren has been dancing for the past 3-1/2 years -- both solo dancing and also in teams. She is now officially with Juicy Texas and loves every minute of it!

9) Alyssa Griffin aka Aly Kat - Miss Aly Kat has been gogo dancing for about two years and used to dance for a team but now does freelance gigs. She currently works at Club Rio in San Antonio.

10) Scottie Medley - has been dancing for 4 years and has danced in over 25 clubs in TX, The Palms and Las Vegas. She currently has a residency at a club in San Antonio but is looking to get more work in the Austin nightlife scene.

11) Brittany Knowlton - started young dancing ballet, tap, jazz, and cheer leading since at the age of 6. She originally starting off in the EDM scene and Brittany's dance moves have now flourished into numerous other styles. She is another representative of Juicy Texas.

12) Meredith Ann - Meredith was a GoGo dancer at Malaia and also a dancer at republic live.

13) Abby Ho - Abby's style of dancing includes free flow, tectonic, shuffle and choreography. She has been dancing for about a year, and says that although this isn't an incredibly lengthy amount of time, she is confident in what she can do and she is ready to prove it to you.

14) Katelyn Duncan - has been an alternate for the Gogo Gadgettes and also a free lance dancer. She has danced at clubs all over Austin.

15) Meaghan Arceneaux - has been dancing for a while now, and started out in underground raves and clubs in Houston. She started dancing with the Gogo Gadgettes when she moved to Austin. She won the Miss B Haven dance contest a couple of months ago and is currently working a bottle service at Rio.
