Ewan's HypnoBirth | home birth | water birth video

This is my second birth and first HypnoBirth. There were 9 people present (and 2 on Skype!) when Ewan was born, and it was wonderful to share the joy with family instantly.

No pain relief was used (or needed) as I used the breathing and visualization techniques taught in the HypnoBirthing course. Although the environment wasn’t quiet with a toddler and many other people there, I had the focused, natural birth that I had hoped and planned for.

For my first birth (natural birth in hospital with ventouse, laboured in the water, some gas as pain relief), I read the HypnoBirthing book but taking the course this time was invaluable.

Believe in your body ladies – they know what to do even if it’s your first birth.
