01/22/11: Fios News examines soup kitchens, with a focus on the United Methodist Center, New York, who depend on donations gathered by non-profit organization, Rock and Wrap It Up! Founder Syd Mandelbaum explains how he was inspired by his parents, holocaust survivors, to form the anti-poverty thinktank, Rock and Wrap It Up! which distributes leftover food from different industries to feeding the hungry - not filling landfills. Mandelbaum also announces Hungerpedia, an upcoming project, which will list charitable agencies and their needs, in the hopes of matching them with local donors.
