The short lived yet highly influential Mother Love Bone project had it's sights set for stardom. Frontman Andrew Wood as well as guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament dressed in 80's glam in hopes of playing in arena sized venues, and they most definitely had the talent and potential to do so. Sadly, Andy Wood would die in 1990 of a heroin overdose and at some time or another every surviving member would move on to play in Pearl Jam.
