[Migratory Birds] HIkaru Tanimoto 渡り鳥　谷本光

This is my first composition.
I composed it in 2000 when I was 16 years old.
I was inspired by Kushiro Marsh in Hokkaido.
Original title is [WATARIDORI(渡り鳥)] in Japanese.
In English, [Migratory Birds]
16歳の頃に作った初オリジナル曲「渡り鳥」です。

【Biography】
Hikaru was born on June 18th, 1984, in Hokkaido,Japan.
He started a professional career at age 17,
that was only one year after started playing the acoustic guitar at age 16.
In those days, he used to practice at least 15 hours everyday.
By using only one acoustic guitar without multiplex recordings, he express various sounds such as Percussion, Slap bass, tapping, DJ scratch, Techno beat, some ethnic musical instruments(Indian, African,Spanish, Japanese, Caribbean ), etc...
It was difficult for people to believe that he could do it so.
His playing style is very unique that overthrow the traditional guitar concepts.
He was favorably reviewed by some music magazines as "the world level without objection", "What a surprise!, he's got a bright future ahead of him."
He has provided his music to such projects as Nissan automobile ads,
National Health Insurance of Japan ads, and "Sonic and the Black Knight(Sonic the Hedgehog)" of Sega video game music.
In 2010, he was ranked top 20 as most popular Japanese guitarist in Swing Journal,a popular magazine for jazz music.
He was invited as one of a few Asian musicians for "Frankfurt Musik messe2010 (in Germany)" It`s one of the largest international musical instruments festival in the world.
He was Invited for "Music China (2009~2011)", "Music Korea 2010" They are big international musical instruments festivals in the world.
In 2011, he was invited as one of the fifteen professional finger-style guitarists from all over the world for "International finger-style guitar festival( in Shanghai,China. )"
In addition, he has been to Spain, France, USA, Taiwan, Philippine on the performance.
In Japan, he has appeared as a backing guitarist with famous some musicians on TV&Radio, and also as a solo on TV, radio,magazines,newspaper. And he play at festivals(Fuji Rock, Rising Sun,etc...), events, parties, schools, hospitals, cafes, restaurants and teaching as a guitar instructor, creating music as a composer.
