Haiti Midwives

Photographer Roger Lemoyne travelled to Haiti, the nation with the highest rates of infant and maternal mortality in the Western hemisphere, to meet a group of midwives who are helping to improve the survival rates for expectant mothers and their babies. In this exclusive audio slideshow, he takes us inside the hospitals and mobile clinics where these amazing midwives are working miracles every day.
