The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (AUSTRALIAN VERSION)

The music video for "Smack My Bitch Up", directed by Jonas Åkerlund, featured a first-person point of view of someone going clubbing and indulging in large amounts of drugs and alcohol. Other content shown includes the protagonist getting into fist fights with men, abusing women, vomiting repeatedly, and picking up a lap dancer (played by British glamour model Teresa May) and having sex with her. Much of the aforementioned is depicted fairly explicitly. At the end of the video, the camera pans over to a mirror, revealing the subject to be a woman. MTV only aired the video between 1 and 5 a.m due to the controversial material. After one week, the very same television network banned the music video at NOW's request. The director got the inspiration for the contents of the video after a night of drinking and partying in Copenhagen.

El video clip (dirigido por Jonas Åkerlund) era el punto de vista en primera persona de alguien saliendo de marcha, tomando grandes cantidades de alcohol y cocaína, metiéndose en peleas con hombres, abusando de mujeres y recogiendo una prostituta. En el vídeo la cámara muestra los efectos en primera persona de la combinación de dichas drogas. Al final del vídeo la cámara sube a un espejo, revelando que la persona es una mujer y explicando así por qué le tira los tejos el hombre del vídeo con pinta de oficinista en el primer pub, y el hecho de que se pelee con todo hombre que se le acerca tiene otras connotaciones. Algunos opinan que el hecho de que se vea como mujer al final del vídeo es parte de una alucinación producto de las drogas.
