Keyboard maestro Michele Chiavarini's career as session multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer spans over 20 years and it ranges from pop to dance, from film and TV music, from Latin and Jazz to World music. Classically trained on piano, guitar, composition, orchestration and conducting, Michele is also a masterful programmer and sound engineer, equally at home with electronic, acoustic or orchestral musical environments. Over the past 10 years, in his many roles as musician, composer, song-writer, producer and arranger, Michele has been involved in over 30 Top 10s, 20s, and 40s. He has worked with Robbie Williams, A R Rahman, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, Kylie Minogue, Gloria Gaynor, Simply Red, Philip Bailey, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Soul II Soul, Gabrielle, Mutya Buena, Lemar, Jakatta, Bootyluv, and many more. Furthermore Michele regularly writes music for advertising (Evian, Heineken, Gordons Gin, 555, etc.), for the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and CNN. In the year 2000 his cheeky take on Brit girl groups resulted in the naughty twosome Daphne & Celeste, much loved by Radio One and the NME for their irreverent style. With the duo Michele scored two top 10s and two top 20s. For dance heads, Michele is best known for his work as Nova Fronteira, signed to Dave Lees much-respected Z Records imprint. As well as being the keyboardist on most of Z productions, Michele was also one of the main writers on the hugely successful Jakattas album Visions (3 TOP 10s) and many other Dave Lees projects (Raven Maze, 2 TOP 10s, etc.). Indeed Dave Lee is not the only dance friendship Michele has forged. Youll also hear him on productions by a host of other dance luminaries including Seamus Haji, Robert Owens, Mark Knight, DJ Disciple, Warren Clark, ATFC, Bobby and Steve, Allister Whitehead, Mark Wilkinson, Booker T, K&M, Bootyluv, Luciana Caporaso, etc.
