Ellen McIlwaine: Higher Ground

No-one has Ever Played Slide Guitar like Ellen Mcilwaine. I don't think anyone ever will. Her technique is Driving, smooth, crisp, powerful, percussive, Rhythmic and completely her own. What she does all by hereself with an acoustic guitar and a slide sometimes almost defies belief.

This is just an Excellent cover of Higher Ground--one that I think might just have inspired the Red Hot Chili Peppers--although I'll take Ellen's version. I'll take it over Stevie's as well.
