Love Has Found A Way - Spirit [California] - 1970

Love Has Found A Way - Spirit [California] - 1970 - "A TRUE Fusion-Jazz-Psycedelic-Rock nugget." - Twelve Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus (Sony)-1996.

NOTE: Not unlike some of the Beatles' psychedelic creations. Underneath this, however, is a gorgeous, pop-jazz melody that draws the listener in with each verse. One of their BEST.

REVIEW excerpt by Richie Unterberger (allmusic):
"Although Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus has the reputation of being Spirit's most far-out album, it actually contains the most disciplined songwriting and playing of the original lineup, cutting back on some of the drifting and offering some of their more melodic tunes.
The lilting "Nature's Way" was the most endearing FM standard on the album, which also included some of Spirit's best songs in "Animal Zoo" and "Mr. Skin.""

The Original lineup on their first four albums (1968-1970):
Randy California: Lead guitar, some vocals.
Jay Ferguson: Lead vocals, percussion.
Mark Andes: Bass.
Ed Cassidy: Drums.
John Locke: Keyboards.

Waves are crashing on the sea
Lennons flashing on how would she be
Some are reaching for the gun
Some are searching for all the sun
Love has found another way
I knew it would make it some how (Oh Yeah)
We will find a better way for making love
And love and love has found a way
And love....

A very good Psychedelic interlude.

Children reaching for a hand
Soldiers killing at every command
Though I've seen this with silent tears
Some will give this with violent fears
Love has found another way
I knew it would make it some how (Oh Yeah)
We will find a better way for making love
And love, love has found a way
And love, love, love has found a way
