Home birth of 11lb 13 oz baby

I am sharing this video to help educate and inspire anyone seeking an out of hospital birth. My labor was attended by a direct entry midwife and her assistant/apprentice. I labored for a little over 3 hours of labor and pushed for just a few minutes. Baby boy weighed 11 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 inches long. I did not experience any tearing or lacerations.

During my pregnancy I read a lot about hypnobirthing. I was able to implement many of those ideas which I feel really helped me get my baby into the proper position and visualize a pain free birth.
