Todays Vlog is my Labor and Delivery Vlog!! I was hoping I wouldn't go to my due date so when I started getting contractions Friday evening we were hoping this was it. I got the house cleaned up while timing contractions. I wanted to keep moving to help them keep going plus get the house cleaned up so when we got back the house would be all nice and clean. I got our bedroom sheets and duvet washed, cleaned up all the crumbs and dust off all the corners of the house, made arrangements for the kids to stay with neighbors if we were going to end up going to the hospital. I did my hair, my nails and took a quick bath. Around 8pm we decided to head to the hospital. My contractions were getting worse but definitely not too painful yet. We got all checked in at the hospital around 8:30pm. I ended up having her at 11:38pm that night which was crazy. They were going to send me home because I was only dialated 2.8cm then after an hour went to only 3cm. Was about to be sent home when the doctor said to have the nurse still monitor me for 20 more minutes. I was still not in a hospital gown yet, my bags were still in the car and everything progressed so quickly no one was expecting it. I ended up having the nurse deliver my baby because there was no time and I didnt have time to get an epidural which made me panic. It was so quick but so completely painful that last hour in labor.
