About Crystal vermin:

A piece about the subterranean transformation of dead organic matter into crystalline structure.
The first part depicts the swarming of vermin, impersonated by the continuous ligados of the left hand and complemented by mosaique-like specks of crystal gleam in the harmonics of the right hand.
The subsequent tremolo part introduces the gleaming of the arising silicon structures. After an ornamental bridge of ligados, the form inverses symmetrically; the shining of the crystal drops into the lowest register of the guitar after which the insectoid whirling of the first part is reflecting in the high register at the end of the piece.

水晶のフェルミン

　この作品はオランダの作曲家・フローリアン・マグヌス・マイヤーによって、ディアンジェロ・シシリアのために特別に書かれたものである。
　作曲家のコメントによると、"第一部は切れ目なく続く左手のリガド（弦を右手ではじかず指板を指で叩くように弾く奏法）によって表現される微生物の群がる様子、そして、そこに右手のハーモ二クスによる、モザイクの様なクリスタルの光の斑点が描写されている。リガドの装飾的な連結部の後に、形式は対象にひっくり返され、終部では，始めの微生物のうずまきが高音域に映し出され、クリスタルの輝きがギターの低音域へと落下する。"
