Factory Records was a musically versatile label, dabbling in classical, jazz, folk, world, and humor amid its familiar output of indie rock and dance. This eponymous mini-album (FACT 205) was the sole release by 10-piece ensemble, The Jazz Defektors (although the band also made a couple of compilation appearances). Mick Talbot and Paul Weller (The Style Council) mixed the LP at Weller's Solid Bond Studios in London.
