For well over forty years, his inimitable voice has thrilled hundreds of thousands worldwide on countless classic Ska, Soul, Rock Steady and Reggae recordings, many of which he also happened to have written.

The recent passing of The great Alton Nehemiah Ellis, a man who brought great joy through both his music and his presence, is a truly sad loss to lovers of his music.

The Freddie McGregor version of this track is probably more widely known, but here Mr Ellis places his own unmistakable stamp on the rhythm.
