前オリジナルアルバム「つしまみれ」からは、実に2年5ヶ月ぶりのリリースであるが、今までと変わらぬ勢いを持ちつつも今までとは全く違う斬新さを持った作品である。
今回の作品は現代的な色彩の中にニューウェーブの色彩を色濃くかつ違和感なく調和させたようなそんな仕上がりだ。
また、今作では楽曲だけではなくアートワークにおいても強烈な美が表現されており、聴覚と視覚の両方から「人間放棄」という境地を感じさせてくれる。熱くて冷たい全く逆のものが一つの作品として成立した、まさに今のつしまみれにしか出来ないものを創り上げてきたと言える。
どこまでも挑戦的なつしまみれの姿勢がストレートに提示されたアルバムだ。
つしまみれの創り上げた音楽にどっぷり浸り込み音楽と一体となり全ての境界線も曖昧になる。それが「人間放棄」という状況なのかもしれない。
