My midwife is helping coach be because 1. this is my first natural birth. 2. I had been pushing for a long time, had to be coached through breathing to not push. 3. Her involvement made me feel secure.
Next time we will go for a hands off birth. This birth had to be hands on with an anterior cervical lip and shoulder dystocia.
