Keoki is extra charismatic onstage with the family (dad, cousin Ikaika, nephews Peter & Garrett), even dancing a bit! Ikaika, Peter, & Garrett all started as ukulele youth students 15 years ago. He brought Ikaika on stage at the show for OJT (on the job training) to get him back into performing. When Ikaika gets shy, Keoki teaches "the smile". Prior to starting, it was noted that Ikaika, as a rusty returnee was starting at the beginning and was therefore neither mic-ed nor was his instrument plugged in.
