This anti-establishment song from the renegade Izumiya Shigeru dates to the early 1970s. It exhibits all the questioning of authority that distinguished the youth culture of that era. I've done it up with an English translation in hopes that it'll reach a wider audience with its message. It might be useful for students of Japanese (or English, I guess, for that matter.)
(Postscript: I just read in the March issue of the Japanese newsmagazine AERA that Izumiya has recently released a 10 CD boxed set titled, of course, "Kuroi Kaban" (The Black Bag). I guess I picked the right song to introduce.)
