Spyro Gyra (1974-) is a smooth jazz/jazz fusion group originally formed in Buffalo, NY. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1978. They have had eleven Grammy nominations between 1980 and 2009, winning four of the awards between 1980 and 1985. They still perform and record today.
