This is one of Aimer's 3 newest songs. Hoshi ni Kieta Yoru ni, Re: I Am, and Kyou kara Omoide. Interestingly enough, all 3 songs have an underlying theme.
Hoshi no Kieta Yoru ni: Yasashiku, gentleness
Re: I Am: Tsuyoku, strength
And Kyou kara Omoide: Kanashiku, sadness.

Also, Re: I Am has the theme of taking something "Aimer" and rearranging it. "Re: I Am". With this song, Aimer is letting her fans know that she's deviating away from her old, softer style of singing and becoming a new artist. But that's just my opinion ^_^
