2NE1 - HATE YOU (OFFICIAL JAPANESE VIDEO) [HD]
This is the official Japanese video release, and as you have probably noticed there are a few minor changes and a few major changes.
The video begins with the ending title towards the left side of the screen. Near the end of the video, this is shown again in the centre. After the initial title, this version shows the DJ putting 2NE1's record on in the beginning while this scene is in turn, taken out from its usual Korean place in the pub just before the speakers are shown.
In this version, the explosion has been cut out of CL's intro background, and the initial nuke of the nuclear reactors has also been removed.
- This is probably because of the controversy surrounding the video in Japan due to the fact that many Japanese people thought the explosion meant they were mocking the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
Other changes are that during the fight after the car chase CL is shown firing a gun at the villan while the shot pans out from the pupil of her eye.
Towards the end of the video when the girls are shown standing together after defeating the monster, the camera shows a slow medium close-up shot while moving to the left. In the Korean version, the camera moves quickly across and pauses to show CL's facial reaction.
There has also been controversy surrounding the slaying of the monster. The monster is shown to have a 'redish pink' dot in the middle of its forehead. Some Japanese refer to this as another act of mockery towards their national flag, and it is said that the dot against the white head represents their national flag, and the easy defeat of it represents the easy defeat of Japan.
The mocking is apparently not true, and director Marie Kim had completely different intentions which the Japanese received the wrong impression from. On the 31st October Marie Kim stated the following:
"Fans are characterising the video incorrectly. I had no intention of mocking the nuclear damage in Fukushima, Japan, but I was trying to highlight the pain that the incident inflicted on humanity.
The animated video shows four women saving the world from a monster, which bears similarities to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, and the monster is said to represent Japan's national flag."
With the description out of the way, this is my third attempt at uploading the full official version, but this time the upload is the FULL OFFICIAL VIDEO, not just the song. I must mention that this was created from the official Japanese video release provided by Min2Any, but the HD was not of the best quality. I took it upon myself to splice the two videos into the correct positions to create the best possible quality, final re-production of the official video possible.
The final upload looks identical to Min2Any's upload, yet this version is of higher quality HD.
