SURFACE TO AIR MISSIVE 300 12" vinyl LPs October 15th via stonesthrow.com & leavingrecords.com. Southern psychedelic rock from Tallahassee, Florida. Taylor Ross (formerly of Dream Love), age 23, played all the instruments on this album, breaking bones in a freak accident while flailing arms and head during a drum session. He finished, recording with his neck turned at a 90-degree angle for weeks on end. Pain killers may have been consumed. Surface To Air Missive became a band of four members. They met Matthewdavid from Leaving Records, who took the album to Stones Throw. Neither label has released a Southern psychedelic rock record.
