The one and only Marco Bailey is back on Phobiq with a threefold attack, covering all bases and flavors. Starting off with "Funky Feet", we are introduced to a steamrolling groove with tons of percussion-based action alongside busy snares and a stomping kick. The aptly-titled "The Black Stallion" takes over from there with a galloping bassline and sneaky shakers and hats. Some very tasty dark stabs come in to play alongside gurgling fx and the stallion is literally on the loose. On "The White Stallion", on the other hand, things are more straightforward with pulsating bass and streamlined synths putting together a tense atmosphere; all of which Mikael Jonasson completely flips around, adding otherworldly pads and phrases made of vocal edits, on his own rendition.

Marco Bailey is truly an icon in dance music, with relentless touring and releases across a wide variety of respected labels such as: Drumcode, Intec, Sleaze etc. After his acclaimed "Dragon Man" LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock label (2011), Marco released the notable "Stella EP" (Intec) followed by "Jungle Laps" (Bedrock) (2012). Esteemed artists such as Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Gregor Tresher & Nic Fanciulli all remixed his tracks.
Marco’s own imprint, MB Elektronics saw him churn out no less than 5 separate EPs in 2012 alone. This was followed up by what some techno aficionados have dubbed a masterpiece, his 12 track album “High Volume” which dropped in 2013 along with the documentary “Marco Bailey.” Just born is also his new imprint MBR limited, a special limited series editions of 20 EP's, all showing the deeper, dark & pureness of the Techno Sound of Marco Bailey, with brilliant Remixes Black Asteroid, Flug, Mike Dehnert & Korova.
