"WW2 AIR RAID SIREN" still roars for over 75 years ...

Function check of one of the last special existing combinated siren in original condition: It is a "fire-siren" and "air raid siren" in one unit like u see in the video. It was developed especially for WW2-times: In case of fire there was activated the deep-tone unit.
Here in the video is an original deep-tone siren F2 audible: https://youtu.be/aU2eiMyYFbg?t=1m29s
And if there were air raids, then the high-tone unit was activated. The population could make a better audible difference between both siren frequencies.
Construction year was in the 30ies by "Elektror". You can hear the siren signal "fire alert".
But i think that the bearings of the audible high-tone siren are defect. The rotor already stopps after approx. 2 minutes. Here is the same siren type in action: an older recording from me:https://youtu.be/Qi0Ka6NuRo4
(There in the video is a very long visible running of the rotor.)

But nevertheless i´m glad to hear and see such rare&old "combination-sirens" which are still in function today and i hope they will "roar" many years for the future.

Look at this: another "combinated fire&air raid siren" typ L138 of my private siren collection: Both siren units run at same time:

Special thanks to "Rheinlandsirene". He was given the information about the existence of this siren.
