And the Ripped Ones say goodbye
While the others meet,
Attached somewhere
At least they're shared
And the Ripped Ones never collide,
While the others
While the others
Four
(And the Ripped Ones say goodbye) Nine
Five
(While the others meet) Three
(attached somewhere) One
(At least they're shared)
Four
(And the Ripped Ones never collide) Nine
Five
(While the others) Three
(While the others) One
(While the others)
Four, nine, five, three, one
Four, nine, five, three, one
Four, nine, five, three, one
Persons attempting to find a motive in this narrative will be prosecuted; persons attempting to find a moral in it will be banished; persons attempting to find a plot in it will be shot. - Mark Twain
People may be curious about the use of "D-I-E-C-A" in the video. I, when making the video, was under the assumption that "49531" corresponded with the letters of the alphabet, but have recently read that this may not be the case. I have read things ranging from "the numbers correspond to letters" to "the number is significant because it's prime" to "Pinback's lyrics don't mean anything, they are just meant to blend well with the music". Whatever the case may be, I kind of regret putting it in, but it is what it is.
Thanks for watching.
