Adrian's Home Birth Homestead

Adrian was born on Thanksgiving of 2013 . It was a beautiful birth, I was surrounded by people who loved me. I have been receiving comments about the aggressive voices telling me to push but there is more behind the story. Footage of me telling my hubby that I was okay with what ever was going to happen was not shown because the sound was too low. I had a long tiresome day and I was giving up. What I meant by I was okay with what ever happened was that if i had to transfer to the hospital I would be okay with that. Which in reality would have been devastating for me. My sons head was visible and my midwife knew that I liked her directing me when to push, so she did. There are different kinds of midwives, to each there own birthing ways. I respect each woman's decision.
