These love notes that reach my inbox mean so much to me. I know that in some fashion, I was there in spirit and encouraged you to birth. She wrote me:

“Hey, I love your page it has been my inspiration leading up to my perfect birth on Thursday (4th April) it was my first baby and I chose a home birth, I just had gas and air, a TENS machine, hypnobirthing techniques, regular food and sweets, loads of fluids, aromatherapy, and lots of love and encouragement from my Fiance and the midwives. Leading up to the birth we did a hypnobirthing course and perineal massage (Daily for 5 weeks). Our baby weighed 8lb 3oz. Just a minor graze on my inner labia. My fiance delivered the baby!”
