The Natural Yogurt Band - Eastern Promise (Jazzman Records, 2010)

Two esoteric psyche beat jams from the Natural Yoghurt Band aka Miles Newbold and Wayne Fullwood. They've previously released a 7" for Jazzman, and this is a teaser for their up coming album 'Tuck In With The Natural Yoghurt Band'. On 'Eastern Promise' the drums are crisp but vintage sounding and provide a backing for wildly panned pulsations and "phonosynthetic oscillations" with a exotic twist. 'Psalm' is a little slower and more revenant with choral vocal harmonies and a woozy narcotic feel.
