September 8th can be written down as the day we’re one song richer, presenting: ‘DiSKO’ by Carita La Nina and Jody Koenders.

Carita La Nina and Jody Koenders glued one selfs to each other in the studio and created this masterpiece. ‘DiSKO’ even became the official soundtrack of the sports brand Sinner commercial ‘Sinner - As I Am’, which aired on National TV last April.

Carita La Nina, well known for her collaboration with Dash Berlin - called ‘Dragonfly’ which was received with great international success, hasn’t sat still these past months. Gigs in Japan and beyond, overtime in the studio and several releases kept Carita making the right moves. Among the releases this year includes 'DiSKO' produced in collaboration with talented Dutch producer Jody Koenders.

After a bad incident during his professional snowboard career, Jody decided to focus more on his music and we’re happy he did. Establishing his own record label Eskill Records in 2012 gave Jody the opportunity to make this him home base for his very own productions like ‘Quantum’ and ‘Superhome’. Teaming up with miss Carita resulted in ‘DiSKO’ and an exceptional video with a greater message behind it was created by the creative guys of Studio Raar.

The video tells a story about what is an issue that is currently moving around youngsters, which is the peer pressure of what is acceptabel & what not. A few among us seem to have a self-image, that doesn’t reflect reality. Don’t look for the illusion or things you are not. Make sure you find the happiness in yourself.
