Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support. It’s incredibly heartening to hear that people are still benefiting from the video after six years. At first, I did not intend for it to be educational, but thanks to my husband Steve’s quick thinking in getting it on video for my doctor, who had never seen one, followed by he and Bucky responding so well, I have doctors and nurses telling me they use this as an instructional video and I’m so happy that it’s helping people that way and also helping my fellow epileptics figure out their symptoms.

To those asking how I’m doing now - relatively FABULOUS. After my doctor saw the video, I became eligible for a vagal nerve stimulator and received one the following year.  That was seven years ago, and I can count on one hand the seizures I have had since then that were not obviously triggered by some thing like sleep deprivation or severe dehydration.

If you or someone you love is dealing with seizures, please feel free to reach out. Remember, I’m NOT a doctor, but I might have some advice as a fellow patient.
