Gabriel was born the morning of October 31st 2013. He is our little Halloween Baby. Born 8 lbs 6 oz. and 20 in long. His original due date was November 18th.
This was our very first experience with a home water birth and our best birth experience by far. Thank you to all who made this possible especially to the wonderful and amazing ladies at Spokane Midwives.
Gabriel is the fourth child for Julie and I. Our first two Abraham and later Miriam were breach and came by c-section. Samuel our next we were able to have v-back at the hospital. At the time Julie wanted to go natural but was strongly compelled by the hospital to get an epidural.
Gabriel was our first without hospitals, drugs, doctors, nurses, beeping machines and all the other craziness generally associated with having a baby. It was a different and amazing experience.
