Brilliant song by Colin Newman of Wire, on his first solo album, A-Z. Released on Beggars Banquet in 1980. This album is also notable because two songs on it, "Not Me" and "Alone" were subsequently covered by This Mortal Coil on It'll End in Tears and Filigree and Shadow, respectively.
