Alan Sorrenti was born in Naples, but his mother was Welsh, and he spent much of his childhood in Aberystwyth of Wales. This taken from his debut album " Aria " released in 1972 . It's a progressive folk/rock album with some experimental parts and unique vocals from Alan Sorrenti.
