HIGHWAY.........YOU MADE A FOOL

"You Made A Fool" was the 1st single release from Highway's (aka...Sherbet & Sherbs for the rest of the world) album,, "Highway 1" on RSO Records in 1979.
Australia's Sherbet changed their name to Highway just for the U.S. market & finally found a U.S. label for themselves with Robert Stigwood's RSO Records,but sadly,with all of RSO's attention to The BeeGees,Andy Gibb.Player & The Rockets in 1979,there was no support or promotion for the Higway 1 album.
It's a shame cause Highway's album is filled with near perfect pop songs & could've been a big hit in the U.S. in 1979.
Highway actually toured the U.S. in support of the "Highway 1" album as the opening act for Andy Gibb during his 1979 North American tour.
Luckily,Highway found some U.S. sucess a year later in 1980 as The Sherbs with "The Skill" single & album on a new label in the U.S. with Atco Records.
Highway 1 is one of my all time fav albums & my fav album for 1979 !!!!
