Video of Baby Being Born

This is the actual birth video of my eldest daughter: from birth to placenta delivery.

I forgot to mention in the video that we used organic extra virgin olive oil for the lubricant and my husband applied a lot of essential oils to my body, which helped with pain and anxiety. I know it may not mean much because I gave in and got an epidural but, I believe it helped :)

I thought long and hard about whether I should upload this video but then I remembered how scared I was about the pain of giving birth when I was pregnant. Watching birthing videos really helped ease the anxiety. I hope this helps other women and their husbands cope with the stress.

The birth is about halfway through. I cut out some of the contractions because I thought some might think it's too long.

The video goes all the way to the placenta delivery. Word to the wise: Placenta delivery is bloodier than the birth itself...

One of the best days of my life! :)
