Sleater-Kinney return after a 10 year break and deliver a solid indie/punk rock effort.
Though brief, No Cites to Love manages to do much with it's time. The music here still feels relevant, which is impressive since the girls have been off doing their own thing for the last decade.
The musical projects the band members were involved in no doubt kept them on their toes during the hiatus, allowing the music they finally wrote for this album feel fresh.
If, and when Sleater-Kinney writes another album, it will be interesting to see in what direction they head.
