Two of the fine young (moody)men behind the counter at Peckham's Rye Wax have done the honourable thing and provided everyone with a true winter warmer. "No Hurry" may invoke taking it slow, but the choppy hats, gentle keyboard lead, loping bassline and - you guessed it - beckoning female vocal found on the track amount to something subtly sensual. Not too dissimilar to Adesse Versions or Dan Shake, a pair of artists who emerged like a vision from last December's biting winds and greyscale skies, FYI Chris's 10" is soft-tone, modal house music; simple as.
