The all-natural labor and delivery of our third child who presented in an asynclitic position. An asynclitic birth or asynclitism refers to the position of a baby in the uterus where the head of the baby is presenting first and is tilted to the shoulder, causing the fetal head to no longer be in line with the birth canal.. basically, the baby's little head is tilted to the side keeping it from heading straight into the birth canal. Every time I pushed, which was involuntary, her head just pushed against the side of my pelvic bone. I had to resist the natural urge to push for hours as we tried to get her lined back up. This was a hard labor but well worth it. This little girl, our third child, was born naturally into the world on October 2, 2013. We are so grateful to our birth team who was willing to do everything it took to safely deliver Baby Audrey into our loving arms. (This is the PG Version)
