SeaMo is a working implementation of Seamless Vertical Handovers in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks − includes Network Availability & Monitoring, Handoff Decision and Handoff Execution phases. SeaMo uses a Enhanced Fuzzy logic based VHO decision algorithm. Unlike other decision algorithms, SeaMo considers user preference, cost of accessing the network, battery consumed by a network technology, end-to-end available bandwidth along with the other typical parameters like signal strength, Link quality.
