Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons had a blazing trail of hits in the early to mid sixties with "Sherry", "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like A Man" but the hits had trailed off by 1974 when Frankie and the Seasons were signed to the Motown label. His #1 single "My Eyes Adored You" was not considered a hit after it was recorded and Motown declined to release it, so they parted ways, but it paved the road for the "Who Loves You" LP and their spectacular four week return to #1 with "Oh What A Night (December 1963). Frankie maintained his status by coming back to #1 with the title song from "Grease" in the summer of 1978. This is their most popular song ever.
